Good food, good service, and a stunning location. We didn't order anything fancy, a toastie, and scrambled egg on toast, and it was decent, but not quite a 5 star given the standard that exists now. However, for Lochgoilhead, this is in a different dimension to what existed on Cowal 10-15 years ago. Definitely recommend a visit!
Absolutely amazing food! Would rate 6 if possible. Good pricing. Stunning view Lovely cafe will be back! Worth the 2 hour detour we took. Recommend for sure
Amazing cafe that is worth the trip out! Coffee tasty, toasties tasty, cakes tasty!! Staff attentive and happy to get you a seat outside when one comes free.
Visited here today & loved it. We took heid of the comments from other people who attended & went early, this meant that we got a fabulous seat outside in a prime location next to the waterside. Staff were very attentive & extremely friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered the soup & toastie combos and they were amazing - I had the pastrami one & hubby got the cheese & ham one. The soup was tomato & red pepper and was one of the nicest soups I have had in a long while. We treated ourselves to a fruit scone & cream but shared it as we were rather full from the toastie & soup combos. The scone was warm and OMG it was the best scone I have tasted ever - it was amazing. All in, this trip lived up to the expectations that I had of it after seeing it on my SM feed. It's quite a distance from where I live but I will be coming back & bringing some family members with me...it was that good. I'd highly recommend.
Views don't get much better than this. Family had a lovely lunch. Two of us required GF options and that was catered for. Staff are so friendly and helpful. When you first go in if they don't have an outside table it will be offered to you once one becomes available. Highly recommend a visit.
